Equity Schools, LLC is focused on solving capital and operational funding problems for schools, other tax exempt organizations, public entities, and for-profit businesses, has been a long term partner of LG Workshop, LLC. For Verona Wisconsin, the problem was developing a new high school within the existing school system, public amenities and a steeply sloping site which would make a standard development difficult. LG Workshop developed cost saving ideas within the existing site planning goals to utilize the slopes and topography on site to be an advantage and a huge reduction in earth moving costs. Facility sharing and off-time rental ideas were also incorporated into the Site Planning effort to create new project revenues and offset capital costs.
